A good friend of mine said her goodbyes today.
She's taking a flight from Heathrow to LA.
Her decision to leave was a familiar one
And in no shape or form is she jumping the gun.
To up sticks and move in the first place was bold
And I'm so proud of her for declaring a fold.
Many can be bullish and reraise the stakes
And constantly worry if they've got what it takes.
An informed decision promotes peace of mind;
I just hope she moves on from what's left behind.
